Tom ("TC") was formerly the
CEO/owner of CranBarry, Inc., a manufacturer and distributor of sporting
goods products, which he turned from a money losing operation into the
dominant supplier of field hockey equipment in the country.
CranBarry's field hockey customers encompass most high schools and
colleges as well as the majority of players on the USA Olympic field
hockey team. More recently, Tom spent three years working with "high need" teenagers as a math teacher in the public high school in Lowell, Mass., as well as fulfilling his lifelong athletic passion by coaching high school soccer. Prior to CranBarry, Tom worked at Bain & Company, the international strategy consulting firm headquartered in Boston. He is a graduate of Amherst College and MIT's Sloan School of Management, where he was a Seley Scholar. Tom continues to donate his time generously to his adopted town of Lowell and to coach high school soccer.

Bill
("Hayles") founded and led two
companies, focusing each time on streamlining fragmented "low tech"
industries. Sterling Autobody Centers, Inc. was a chain of highly
modern collision repair stores in 7 states which progressed, under the
leadership of Bill and his team, from start-up to over $100 million in annual sales before
ultimately being acquired by Allstate Insurance. Before You Move,
Inc. was a call center based moving services company purchased by Monster.com. Previously, Bill also worked at Bain & Company. He is a graduate of Williams College and Harvard Business School. Bill remains passionately involved in entrepreneurial activities, including serving on the board of directors of Buyers Zone, Inc., a growing internet-based purchasing organization and on the board of advisors of The Kerdan Group, an up-and-coming strategy consulting firm. Additionally, he serves on the board of directors of Literacy Volunteers of Massachusetts, on the board of trustees of Mass Eye & Ear Infirmary, and as an alumni fundraiser for Williams College.
